Founded in 1989… the goals of the club are:

• To engage in enjoyable social activities focused on homebrewing as a common foundation.
• To learn more about beer, beer tasting, beer judging and brewing techniques, based on sharing knowledge and experience.
• To promote the hobby and enjoyment of homebrewing.
• To promote the responsible use of alcoholic beverages.

Meetings are held… regularly on the second Monday of each month from 7:00 PM until approximately 9:00 PM at Fat Jack’s in downtown Bloomington.  Meetings consist of a brief business meeting followed by an always exciting and informative presentation about a style of beer or a technical aspect of brewing. Homebrew sampling and open discussion follows the presentation.

Membership… is open to anyone who is 21 years or older. Whether you brew your own or enjoy a great beer, the Association of Bloomington-Normal Brewers welcomes you! For more information on joining the Abnormal Brewers vist our membership page or just show up at one of our regular monthly meetings.
