Brew Strong also has a 3-part podcast on water quality:

http://thebrewingnetwork.com/shows/497

There is also a 4th part of just Q&A.

John Palmer was one of the hosts of these podcasts.

Two Brothers is also doing a beer dinner in Champaign at Radio Maria Restaurant on Monday Oct. 12th. There still might be some seats open for the dinner. Call (217) 398-7729 if interested.

Thanks for the post! I hope you guys will participate in our current experiment on pitching rates. I have split a barleywine into three parts, pitching amounts that are said to be too little, too much, and just right into each. I'm really looking forward to hearing the results from other brewers.

Cheers!
James

Looks good! One minor correction...

"The beers in the trial showed subtle flavor differences but no brewer reported that the beer was not marred by excessive off flavors."

The proposals were presented on a ballot at the club meeting on July 13th. The current language was also on the ballot. Proposal 2 was selected by a majority of the club members that were present and the current by-laws will be revised to include these changes.
